All Levels Tuesday Belly Dance
Join us for our regularly scheduled All Levels Fusion Belly Dance Class! Join our community of dancers and… let’s Dance!
Learn to belly dance! Based on American Belly Dance, this unintimidating class is a fun way to work out and learn dance vocabulary! All levels (including beginners!) are welcome.
Each class will teach the dancer (that’s YOU!) to prepare, warm up and then challenge the body and mind with shapes, techniques and drills!
Learn beginner and intermediate level movements, including fundamentals like posture and foundational techniques that help to move through dance and move through life. Progress with shimmies and layered dance moves that will keep your mind and body engaged and challenged. In every class, Elizabeth provides movements that will welcome each dancer no matter what experience level, including both slow and slinky movements as well as fast and lively.
All ability levels, shapes and sizes are welcomed and encouraged! This dance style isn’t just a beautiful path for fitness. Belly dancing enhances self-expression and self-confidence. Through dancing, we can learn to love and appreciate our bodies exactly as they are, while becoming stronger and more flexible at the same time.
Class Requirements
No previous dance experience is needed. Attending a full session is recommended.
